Autumn is officially here. Hooray! Although we live in Southern California with milder seasons year-round, there is a freshness to the air. Breezes are cooler, and leaves on the liquid amber trees are beginning to change from green to yellow, orange, and red. It’s just the best time of year! Time to take out my cozy seaters. Time to peruse my cookbooks for soup recipes. Time to add to my stockpile of books to read. Yay fall!
Even more exciting is that we are headed to the east coast to spend time with family. I am looking forward to sharing stories of our travels there, but in the meantime, I’d like to share some delightful quotes on the season that Albert Camus describes this way. “Autumn a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” How lovely.
