Wise Words

The other day I was looking through a pile of notebooks, journals, and assorted magazines, searching for some inspiration. Something to spark new ideas, something to make me want to pull out my paints, inks, and markers. Funny enough, what I found was a handwritten list sandwiched between pages of a long ago purchased art book.

From my journal: May 6, 2022 Newbury Park, California

“…Ha!  Came across inspirational quotes I wrote on yellow lined pages many years ago… Fun!!”

Rereading these quotes made me smile and while not the inspiration I initially was looking for, they lifted my spirits. Perhaps sharing these tidbits of wisdom, will do the same for you. Enjoy!
